Fun Day

In Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, “Funday” is a concept introduced to make learning more enjoyable and engaging for students. Typically, it is scheduled on the last working day of the week, often a Saturday, and involves a variety of activities that combine fun with learning. These activities can include sports, art and craft, music and dance, educational games, storytelling sessions, and other interactive and creative exercises. The aim is to break the monotony of the regular academic schedule and provide a holistic educational experience that nurtures different aspects of students’ personalities.

Every Saturday is celebrated as funday in Kendriya Vidyalaya NPGC Nabinagar as per Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan guidelines. The time table of funday activities is prepared in block periods. Various recreational activities are planned for children from classes 1 to 5 during these block periods. Various activities like reading, drawing, collage making, calligraphy, essay writing, singing, storytelling, poem recitation, dancing, drama, movie shows, fancy dress, vocal and classical music & indigenous toys and games are integral part of our funday calendar.
